A musician, guitarist, and an educator. He performs as a soloist and chamber musician. He has performed with a number of Polish symphony and chamber orchestras, and The Silesian String Quartet. He has numerous premieres (including three guitar concertos by E. Bogusławski, A. Lasoń and A. Nowak) and recordings to his name: CD albums with music by J.S. Bach, A. Piazzolla and Polish composers, to name a few. He is a winner of the guitar competitions in: Zamość, Warsaw, Cracow and Tychy and of the 5th Ogólnopolski Konkurs Kompozycji na Gitarę Klasyczną (National Classical Guitar Composition Competition).He graduated from the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice in the class of Alina Gruszka, PhD. Currently, he is a professor and dean of the Instrumental Department of the Academy, as well as a teacher at M. Karłowicz Music School in Katowice. He is often invited to be a jury member in guitar competitions and to conduct workshops and masterclasses. Since 2015 he has been the artistic director of the International Silesian Guitar Autumn Festival and Jan Edmund Jurkowski Memorial Guitar Competition in Tychy.He plays the Petr Matoušek, Karl-Heinz Roemmich, Leszek Gajdzik and Godin guitars. He uses D’Addario strings.
